
Constance Fullilove, PhD
Constance Fullilove, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and author of WOKE and Mentally Healthy: An African American Primer on Mental Wellness, with nearly 50 years of extensive experience in psychotherapy with clients across the age spectrum. Her professional life has included consultations with police departments, the court system, and the federal government, and she has taught at local colleges and universities in the Chicago area.
Dr. Fullilove has traveled extensively to several continents. However, a trip to Ghana changed her life. Its impact on her led to a greater awakening of the effects of racism on the African diaspora. In her free time, Fullilove enjoys practicing yoga, swimming, walking, and beadwork. She has three adult children and resides in Chicago, IL.
